The facility's Facebook listing describes the detention center as always open, but that does not establish round-the-clock administrative records processing. Confirm how the custodian accepts and schedules requests before sending sensitive identifying information.
Request Whitley Release Documents
Under KRS 61.872, a Kentucky resident may request existing public records subject to exemptions and residency requirements. A request may be delivered by hand, mail, fax, or email. These details should be confirmed directly with the detention center for the specific release.
The same caution applies to claims copied from polished commercial jail guides. Whitley's official identity is supported by the state county-official directory and the facility's social page, which links the live portal. Source ownership matters when a site that looks official expressly disclaims government control.
A dated portal result should be saved with its access time, then checked against the jailer's record if the release path remains unclear.
